Parsons, DianeTitle: New Homes Agent
Company: Howard Hanna Real Estate
Location: Suffolk, VA United States

Guided by more than two decades of experience, Diane Parsons has thrived in the real estate field. She has become known as a specialist in new homes, though she is also highly skilled at residential resales, market analysis and investment properties. Furthermore, Ms. Parsons has extensive experience in finding homes that qualify for 203K loans in renovations, as well as new home developments for horses or near stables, for those who prefer country living. She particularly enjoys working with buyers who are looking in areas such as Portsmouth, Virginia and Smithfield, Virginia, however, where every piece of property has a history dating back to the original settlers.

The biggest challenge Ms. Parsons has faced along the way is recruiting, as it is very time consuming. She overcame that though, and considers her greatest strength to be training others. Looking to the future, Ms. Parsons hopes to grow her office from 10 people to 35 people. When she isn’t working, she loves going to her cottage with her family, and supports the missions of The American Legion and the Humane Society. Ms. Parsons is also very active with the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters, and is proud to say she has donated 3,800 hours to fundraising for their cause. In recognition of her personal and professional achievements, she has won several awards in decorating in Tidewater Builder’s Association’s “Homearama,” was named an Outstanding Young America Woman of 1987, and is an honored member of the International Women’s Leadership Association. Ms. Parsons hopes to be remembered for her gift of helping people.
