With more than three decades of experience in the accounting industry, Christine Gilbertson has developed impressive customer service and people management skills. She channels this aptitude for working with others and her strength in math into her own company, Personalized Accounting Service, which she opened in 1990. There, Ms. Gilbertson helps both individuals and businesses with a focus on tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, compliance, estate and financial planning, business expenses, deductions, and document preparation. She is inspired to continue her journey with Personalized Accounting Service by her clients, who keep coming back to her. Ms. Gilbertson considers this the greatest compliment of all. She feels lucky because she genuinely loves her career and the people she works with.

Ms. Gilbertson didn’t always like math, however. She had a complicated childhood, and after she started doing tax returns at the age of 12, she discovered she was really skilled at it. Ms. Gilbertson decided to pursue the field further, and earned an associate degree in accounting from Casper College. She has continued to grow ever since, and is currently working to become an enrolled agent with the IRS.

Recently, Ms. Gilbertson added to her life by becoming a foster parent. Although raising children is a challenge, she is extremely proud of her four girls and remains involved in Foster Care Programs. Ms. Gilbertson hopes to be remembered for her heart and for how much she cares about people. As a member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, she would advise the younger generations not to worry about money; if they love what they do, the rest will fall into place. In her spare time, Ms. Gilbertson enjoys photography, gardening, and flowers.
