After spending 55 years in the nursing and education field, Jean Brannon decided it was time for a change. She went back to school to earn a real estate license, and, using what she learned, opened her own company in 2003. Brannon Properties LLC has since become a staple in the San Antonio community they serve, and offers an array of residential and commercial real estate management options. As an owner and broker of the company, Ms. Brannon is responsible for finding clients who seek to buy and sell properties, serving as a liaison between all interested parties, negotiating, and showing and staging properties.

To stay on top of changes in the field, Ms. Brannon maintains affiliation with the Texas Realtor Association and the National Realtor Association. She also earned a broker’s license in 2010 and an E-Pro certification. Looking to the future, Ms. Brannon hopes to expand more into commercial properties. She attributes her success thus far to her hard work.

In her previous career, Ms. Brannon served as a professor in the nursing department at San Antonio College and the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. During that time, she acquired a U.S. patent for patient gowns and a copyright for the Brannon Life Contentment Scale. Ms. Brannon prepared for this professional endeavor by receiving a Master of Arts in teaching with a concentration in American studies from Fairfield University in 1973 and a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1958.
