Title: Adjunct Lecturer
Company: 1) Brooklyn College 2) St. John’s University
Location: Brooklyn, NY United States

Motivated by her passion for helping people learn and progress in life, Ingrid Clark has spent the past 26 years in the education management field. She recently retired from her role as a principal of the New York City Department of Education, and is now working as an adjunct lecturer at Brooklyn College and St. John’s University. In Ms. Clark’s former capacity, she gained unspeakable joy from the students, families and staff members she encountered. In her current capacity, she gains the same from pre-service, new, and seasoned in-service teachers. Ms. Clark’s greatest strength is the fact that she is good at building relationships. She also loves to break things down to be more understandable while helping students find their own strengths.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Clark earned a Master of Arts in elementary education, a Master of Arts in special education, and advanced certificates in conservation biology and science curriculum. She considers her greatest accomplishment to be her family, however; she has 11 grandchildren and three children and their spouses. Ms. Clark learns from this amazing group each and every day.  Furthermore, she is currently affiliated with Susan G. Komen, St. Rose’s High School Alumni Association, St. Therese of Lisieux, R.C., the Cross Catholic Outreach, and The International Women’s Leadership Association.
