Following a 15-year career in real estate and title insurance, Sherri Miller decided to move to the pharmaceutical industry.  She has spent the past year as the vice president of finance and accounting for DrugDev, Inc., a company that provides innovative technology solutions that enable the industry to conduct more trials and bring more drugs to the industry for the benefit of the patients.

In her current role, Ms. Miller is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including financial forecasting, strategic planning, handling operations, project management, business development, and performing cash flow analysis and reporting. She also sponsors escrow account reconciliation and bank reconciliation, supervises yearly corporate 1099 workers, directs all aspects of accounting operations, and oversees all tax planning and compliance with required federal, state, local, payroll, and property taxes.

Ms. Miller attributes her success to having great mentors and determination. In recognition for her achievements, she earned the Distinguished Services Award for the company purchase of Clinical Financial Services, LLC, by DrugDev, Inc., in 2014. She was also honored with Value of Distinction Awards in 2015 and 2013. To prepare for her career, Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from West Chester University in 1994. She hopes to continue to grow in her career moving forward, and someday earn a promotion to chief financial officer.
