Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Betty Pellegrino-Bonanno has spent more than two decades developing her expertise in talent and franchise management, strategic development, public relations, quality control, and customer service. In the beginning of her career, she started and operated an Italian restaurant with her husband in Las Vegas, which grew to be so popular they opened a second location. After some time in the restaurant management industry, Ms. Pellegrino-Bonanno and her husband saw the opportunity to recreate different types of restaurants to accommodate trending consumer tastes, and proceeded to open about 50 food businesses through their new venture, Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group. The company has since become the largest hospitality group in Las Vegas, and operates through food courts at the MGM grant, the Venetian, and New York New York, as well as at hotels such as the Flamingo Hotel and the Luxor Hotel. They also have restaurants and franchises off of the Vegas strip in downtown Summerlin, and will be opening new locations in 2016.

On a daily basis, Ms. Pellegrino-Bonanno is responsible for helping various franchises achieve financial objectives and increase operating performance, preparing budgets, creating business plans, solving internal issues as they arise, overseeing marketing, and serving as a field ambassador for companies. She attributes her success at these tasks to her hard work, passion, and faith.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Pellegrino-Bonanno earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business and commerce from County College of Morris. She also graduated from the Versace Neapolitan Pizza School, and became the First Certified Woman Pizzaiola in Las Vegas. In the next five years, Ms. Pellegrino-Bonanno intends to bring her daughter on board with the company and empower her to succeed in the family business. When she isn’t building her restaurant empire, she enjoys traveling, vacationing, and yoga. Ms. Pellegrino-Bonanno is currently in the process of turning her passion for yoga into a new business, South Beach Yoga Wear, which will specialize in ultra stylish yoga and athletic apparel. Additionally, she is a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Animal Foundation.
