Although Jackie Luchsinger initially worked in nursing leadership and operations management, she fell in love with business after getting her first taste of the consulting world. She had the opportunity work with a company using both her nursing skills and her methodology skills to deal with electronic health records, and developed a sales acumen, growing revenue both organically and inorganically. Ms. Luchsinger has been involved with every aspect of the consulting world, and works hard to stay current and relevant so she can best assist her clients.
With such significant experience leading the delivery of solutions to complex business issues through personal expertise and leveraging the talented individuals around her, Ms. Luchsinger was the perfect fit for Dearborn Advisors, LLC. The health care professional services firm is dedicated to advising their clients using methodologies across key initiatives, including realizing the value of recent strategic electronic health record investments, improving quality and patient experience, and controlling costs. As the vice president of service line development, Ms. Luchsinger leads the development and thought leadership needed to combine multiple clinical data elements into clinically relevant and culturally acceptable solutions to help organizations achieve their goals using Dearborn’s clinician adoption methodology. She really enjoys that her position allows her the opportunity to help people at the peak of their careers continue to grow through her strategic and technical abilities.
Looking forward, Ms. Luchsinger hopes to use her broad knowledge base in clinical care management and management consulting to make health care better in the U.S. She would also like to help her company grow demonstrably in the next few years, or be in a strategic advisory position for a company that has thoughtful growth goals. To prepare for her career, Ms. Luchsinger earned an MBA and a Master of Science in nursing. She also received a Six Sigma Black belt from the GE Leadership Institute, became certified as a project management professional, and trained in change acceleration methodology.
