The real estate field appealed to Sheila Spahr because it presented an interesting challenge and a flexible schedule. Now, four decades later, she continues to serve the industry as a senior sales associate at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty. Ms. Spahr enjoys the opportunity to put contracts together, close deals, and work with people. She is particularly proud of remaining in the top 12 to 14 percent throughout her years as a realtor, and attributes her success to her negotiating skills.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Spahr earned a real estate license, and continued her education and training to stay current. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, the Chamber of Commerce, and The International Women’s Leadership Association. Ms. Spahr hopes to have at least another strong four years in the industry, and to continue to love what she does. She considers her son to be her greatest inspiration; her hard work enabled her to send him to college.
