When the opportunity to get involved in the real estate industry presented itself, Patricia Ottati jumped at the chance. She prepared for the career by taking various courses and earning a real estate license. Now, as the relocation director at Laffey International Real Estate, Ms. Ottati helps families transition to and from the metro areas of New York City. She also assists other agents and brokers with resources for real estate services both locally and around the world.
The biggest challenge Ms. Ottati faced along her journey was balancing her work life with her home life. She has three college-aged children, and together with her husband, she is the legal guardian for her nephew, who is a sophomore in high school. Ms. Ottati has utilized her strengths in leadership and encouraging others to succeed, however. Her professional goal is to continue to establish herself in the industry, and really make a name for herself. When Ms. Ottati isn’t working, she enjoys shopping for furniture and renovating her house.
