Tamara Davis had always wanted to be involved in the financial sector, and was driven forward by her desire to thrive in an industry filled with men. Now a finance expert with 16 years of experience in the field, she is serving as the chief financial officer for Network Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. The family-owned company designs and constructs all types of plumbing needs. While they specialize in correctional facilities, they have participated in the building of many churches and schools along the way. Honesty and integrity are a part of their motto. In Ms. Davis’ role, she oversees all of the financial aspects of the company, manages the office and employees, and handles all taxes and tax work.
One of the highlights of Ms. Davis’ career was when the company was featured in the magazine, Rolling Stone. She is also very proud of having survived in a company and field that is completely male-dominated.
To prepare for her career, Ms. Davis earned an associate degree in finance from Eastern New Mexico University in 2001. She is a member of the National Rifle Association of America, and supports her local animal shelter. In the years to come, Ms. Davis aspires to continue to make the company the best it can be.
