A 30-year veteran in the interior design and contract furniture sales industry, Nancy Magrini-Cavallone is an account executive and designer for Waldner’s Business Environments, a leader in the office furniture industry. Utilizing her expertise in assisting companies, organizations and institutions create effective work environments, Ms. Magrini-Cavallone is committed to providing quality professional services to meet or exceed client needs. She works directly with clients, architects and designers to oversee all stages of a project from start to finish, and has developed strong relationships with both the architectural and design community.
Along her path to follow her dreams, Ms. Magrini-Cavallone earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a specialty in interior design from the New York Institute of Technology in 1980. She was inspired by her father, who always encouraged her to reach for the stars and be the best woman and designer she could be. Ms. Magrini-Cavallone was also motivated by her professor, Hans Schroeder, who recognized her artistic flair and urged her to continue in the work she was doing. She is an active professional affiliate and member of both the American Society of Interior Designers and the American Institute of Architects.
Ms. Magrini-Cavallone’s passion for her work is only outdone by her passion to pay it forward. She devotes much of her personal time to charitable causes, like Fight for Charity, the Arthritis Foundation, and Cruisin’ for a Cure, which promotes prostate cancer awareness. As a stroke victim at just 48 years old, Ms. Magrini-Cavallone also speaks to woman to let them know that they can overcome the effects of a stroke, but encourages them to seek preventative medical care before it gets to that point. Additionally, she speaks for the American Heart Association as a survivor, and she has an online TV program with another stroke victim called “The Language of Love, Stroke of Luck.” In 2009, Magrini-Cavallone served as the 2009 Red Cap Ambassador for the American Heart Association.
