Celebrating 15 years in the financial arena, Carrie Mayne continues as managing member of her firm, C Mayne Accounting LLC. There, she draws upon her expertise in accounting for small businesses that do not necessarily need audits or financial statements, but are interested in preparing them. Throughout her week, Ms. Mayne handles work with new clients and reviews internal financial statements, while she is simultaneously working to become a certified financial planner and public accountant.

Initially, Ms. Mayne became involved in her profession through a natural progression of opportunities while working in the accounting industry. To prepare for her career, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, earning Summa Cum Laude designation. In five years, Ms. Mayne hopes to receive a certified financial planner license and complete a master’s degree.

Since graduation, Ms. Mayne has kept abreast of changes in her field through her memberships with AICPA, GSCPA, and ASPCA.
