Celebrating 30 years in health care, Deborah Girardi finds herself pursuing nursing administration work now for Naples Concierge Nursing. With an insatiable passion for health care, she obtained a Bachelor Degree in nursing, and built upon her success while working for a trauma center for 16 years, learning how to lead an organization, develop interpersonal skills, and provide empathy toward others. The biggest challenge Ms. Girardi has had to overcome was being able to go with the flow of the nursing profession.

The advice Ms. Girardi can give to the younger generation of women entering the workforce is to do the hospital work and be open to learning; do not be afraid to try new things. Her greatest career accomplishment to date was opening her own agency with the professional goal to continue running the operations with strategic operations. Ms. Girardi draws from the inspiration of her clients, being able to help them, and make a difference in their lives.

Ms. Girardi would most want to be remembered by her peers as someone helpful. To develop her career, she holds memberships with NAPW and Who’s Who, while supporting the Missions of Black River. During her free-time, Ms. Girardi enjoys traveling, gardening, hiking and walking.
