As owner and broker for Royal LePage Benchmark, a real estate agency serving the Calgary area, Corinne Lyall is responsible for running the company, handling day-to-day operations, training a sales team of more than 80 realtors, helping agents reach their individual goals, implementing strategic planning and working directly with clients. Attributing her professional success to her commitment and focus, she celebrates eight years of experience in this role as well as an overall career spanning 18 years. Due to her commitment to her career, Ms. Lyall has been the recipient of various awards, including the Most Valuable Team Player award in 2000, the Rookie of the Year award in 1998, and the Million Dollar Club award from the Calgary Real Estate Board.
Ms. Lyall earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communications from the University of Calgary in 1993. She has also studied principles of management at Mount Royal College, completed coursework at the Universite Canadienne en France, and completed coursework at Calgary’s West Island college. Highly-qualified for her career of choice, Ms. Lyall earned a certification in contract law essentials from the University of Calgary in 2007, became a licensed broker in 2002 and studied Real Estate 1000 at the Real Estate Institute of Canada. In the future, she hopes to grow the company and continue to set standards for excellence in her industry.
In order to keep abreast of changes in her chosen field, Ms. Lyall belongs to the Real Estate Council of Alberta, the University of Calgary Alumni Association, the Advisory Services Council, the Residential Advisory Committee and the local chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Association. She is also the vice president of the Calgary Real Estate Board, on the board of directors for the CREB Education Task Force and on the board for Doors Open Calgary. Her interest in the well-being of others exhibits itself in her support of the CREB Charitable Foundation and her volunteer work with charitable golf tournaments and the Children’s Cottage Society. Fond of traveling, Ms. Lyall has traveled throughout Europe, Canada and areas of the United States, Central America and Asia.
