For more than 20 years, Dr. Karina Moldavski has pursed professional endeavors within the health care arena, including case and utilization management, clinical operations, rehabilitation, disability assessment and primary care. She has excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate, engage and develop professionals of widely diverse talents and disciplines. She currently works with 125 direct and indirect reports within five functional areas in multiple markets. Dr. Moldavski also has strong knowledge of nationwide health plans, including Medicare (Medicare Advantage) and Medicaid, CMS and Joint Commission Standards and regulations, Milliman, and Interqual criteria.

Dr. Moldavski believes in being present in the moment when having a conversation, making her a good listener. She enjoys mentoring and sharing her knowledge. She is considered tough but fair, and she is respectful and open to learning from others.She attributes her success to growing up in a family of upper-level executives, so she learned the importance of developing good relationships. In five years, Dr. Moldavski looks to continue advancing her career. She is open to growing with Alignment or moving onto another project. Either way, she wants to see continuous improvements to our health care system and is always a patient advocate. .

Dr. Moldavski and her husband lived and worked in Connecticut. Her husband received a wonderful business opportunity in California, so they relocated. During her search for a new position, she came across an opportunity from Alignment Healthcare. She became involved in her profession because she has a personal commitment to see overall improvements in health care and the patient experience.
