She prepared for her career by persistently pursing her education; she earned a law degree from Thomas Jefferson Law School in 1993, following a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California. In addition to this, Ms. Franks has trained as a mediator, is involved in educational programs within the San Diego community and teaches courses concerning estate planning for the Cuyamaca College Paralegal Program.
Ms. Franks is skilled at being able to adjust and adapt to change in the workplace, and prides herself on overcoming the challenge of finding a good balance between work and home life. She feels her greatest accomplishments include raising her son and setting up her office in the bay area.
