Title: Police Officer (Retired)
Company: Columbus, Ohio Division of Police
Location: Reynoldsburgh, Ohio
Retired Ohio police officer Cynthia High spent a total of 35 years bringing encouragement and dedication to her work in the law enforcement field. She studied sociology in college and joined the police force as a patrolman thereafter, soon discovering that she had to forge a path in a male-dominated environment. Determined to succeed, she pursued education and training at a police academy and went on to enjoy a successful livelihood.
Throughout her career, Ms. High has been motivated to be her best and serve God. She feels that her greatest strength is in encouraging others; having previously retired from the sexual assault field, she hopes to be remembered for helping others to heal and wants to invest her free time in mentoring and volunteer work. Ms. High also supports Mount Olive Baptist Church and Let Our Light Shine Ministry, and enjoys traveling in her free time.
