Professionally-motivated by her laboratory experience and her interest in microbiology, Michele Fojut celebrates eight years as site manufacturing lead for DuPont Nutrition and Health. Through DuPont Nutrition and Health, a Wisconsin-based company that provides food ingredients, dietary supplements, enzymes and bio-based solutions, Ms. Fojut oversees food safety system design and implementation. She attributes her success to her hard work, loyalty and the opportunities that have been afforded to her.
Ms. Fojut prepared for her career by earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin in 1991, along with achieving hard analysis and critical control point certifications in management and auditing. She remains informed of industry changes through her membership with the American Society for Quality, and supports medical advancements through her charitable involvement with Susan G Komen for the Cure and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the long term, Ms. Fojut hopes to continue to progress within her company and acquire additional certifications.
