Attributing her success to her tenacity and desire to help others achieve their goals, Heather Williamson celebrates eight years as president of Transformation Group, LLC and continues to bring expertise in leadership development and strategic planning to her field. By facilitating communications and overseeing employee and leadership development, she assists organizations in problem-solving and generating revenue through her company. Dr. Williamson’s responsibilities include creating leadership programs, management training, time management and generating loyalty strategies, and she brings to her work persistence and 17 years of business experience. 

Driven to advance professionally through educational achievement, Dr. Williamson earned a Ph.D. in social psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007, following a Master of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Science in psychology, both from the same. Her prior experience is varied; she grew familiar with organizational development when she oversaw a two million dollar federal grant for a university and she also worked as a human resources professional for a large organization. Dr. Williamson later decided to start her own company, and Transformation Group LLC was created.

Dr. Williamson keeps abreast of developments in the business world through her involvement with the local chamber of commerce, the Western Chesterfield Business Alliance, the Retail Merchants Association and Executive Women International. She advocates for prospective professionals through her support of the local youth leadership program and her position as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. In five years, Dr. Williamson hopes to expand her company.
