Approaching her profession with a humanistic outlook, Janna Fravel continues to maintain high standards of excellence as chief executive officer at Gehret Associates, Inc. It has been 21 years since Ms. Fravel made the decision to purchase Gehret Associates, a Pennsylvania tax and insurance consultancy, where she helps provide needed financial services to small businesses. Familiar with the previous owner, she is continually committed to the consultancy’s initial goals of honesty, quality insurance information, assistance to clientele, and participation in ministries. “I chose this career because I enjoy helping my clients prepare for their future,” she says, explaining the benefits of her compassionate and caring nature toward the business consulting arena. Ms. Fravel prides herself on listening to the unique needs to each client and is highly skilled in finding the specific insurance program that best suits each individual.
As chief executive officer, Ms. Fravel’s duties include both helping businesses and individuals take financial steps to prepare for unforeseen situations and mentoring her staff to approach transactions with the same style of dedication and consideration she practices. She leads a staff of 11 other women, and wishes to encourage other women to use their personal strengths and gifts to pursue their goals. Ms. Fravel studied business administration and management at South Hills School of Business and Technology and earned an associate’s degree in business studies from Harrisburg Area Community College, where she took courses specializing in business management and law. Ms. Fravel recently earned a bachelor’s degree in Bible education from Lancaster Bible College, where she is a current board member. Her passion resonates within the Christian ministries and she sits as treasurer for HANDI*Vangelism Ministries International, a Christian organization dedicated to providing unique compassion ministries to the Pennsylvania area. Her integrity, dedication, and top-notch client service were acknowledged in 2013 when she received the Richard S. Bafcino Award. It is Ms. Fravel’s goal to consistently grow as an individual and to bring kindness and energy into the lives of others.
