Laureen Cameron’s inspiration to become a lawyer came from her own personal life experiences while growing up. While in college, one of her professors was an attorney, which really gave her a great perspective on the field of law. Now, for the past 14 years, Ms. Cameron has served as lead attorney and entrepreneur under the title, The Law Office of  Laureen A. Cameron, P.A.

Throughout her work-week, Ms. Cameron practices in areas of family law, including divorce, paternity, custody, adoptions, alimony and domestic violence, among others, while providing legal services on an as-needed basis in the areas of criminal, traffic and estate law. She attributes her success to her passion, and also credits enjoying what she does to help people, as well as her strong supporting staff. In 1991, Ms. Cameron received a JD from Stetson University.

In the coming years, Ms. Cameron hopes to experience continued growth and success with her practice by adding additional attorneys. She will also continue to provide quality service and legal representation for her clients. During her free-time, Ms. Cameron does pro-bono work for the Family Law Connection, Legal Aid of Manasota, and the Sarasota Women’s Resource Center.
