Forty years ago, Alison Staines became involved in her profession because she saw the potential, challenge and opportunity of the financial industry. Now, she takes her expertise in credit risk management, accounting, finance, and project management as a private contractor. Through her services, she specializes in managing various high-end asset portfolios, collaborating directly with the chief executive officer, and overseeing various projects. Ms. Staines attributes her success to hard work, opportunity and exposure.

Ms. Staines is most proud of the mentorship and guidance that she has given to young bankers whom have now progressed into leaders within the industry. She is a good quality mentor who has held a number of positions and was fortunate to be given the opportunity to travel. In the coming years, Ms. Staines intends to continue growing and expanding in her career, as well as build strong leaders.

Ms. Staines received a Diploma in Banking and Finance from TAFE and has pursued various leadership training courses. Since graduation, she keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her membership with Australian Institute of Bankers. During her free-time, Ms. Staines supports Guide Dogs Australia.
