For the past six years, Veronica Campbell has been the chairperson for Bewley’s Cafe Theatre. There, she takes 11 years of expertise in food and entertainment services, drawing from a great deal of patience, persistence, and creativity. Throughout her work-week, she develops collaborative teams and works alongside her husband, discussing strategy and finance. In five years, Ms. Campbell plans to continue in her role with food safety, as well as enjoying growing her business, and sharing her knowledge and experience with others.

Prior to joining Bewley’s Cafe Theatre, Ms. Campbell married her husband and they started their original catering business. They sold this business in 1986, and later grew the Bewley’s business to become an international operation. She is now retired from the main board to concentrate on the Café Theatre. The highlight of her career has been expanding the business beyond Ireland. Ms. Campbell has sold been blessed with five children, eight grandchildren, and nearly 50 years of marriage.

In addition to serving as the chairperson of Bewley’s Cafe Theatre, Ms. Campbell is a past president of Dublin University Women Graduates Association, chairperson of the Food Safety Authority Consultative Association and retired director of the Campbell Bewley Group. She has worked together with her husband to create and develop food establishments and businesses where they compliment each other. She is very creative. Ms. Campbell attributes her on-going success as a professional through her perseverance and hard work.
