Initially, Doreen Buckley begame involved in her profession after a lucrative 20-year dancing and teaching career. She decided to enter the corporate world and further challenge her abilities, so she took a position with AIG because she enjoys working with people and enhancing their quality of life. Nine years later, she holds the position as operations manager, managing the international staff members in all facets of operational functions for both commercial and personal insurance. Ms. Buckley continues her success through her hard work, ability to adhere to team goals, and understanding the fundamental organizational context of the company.

Ms. Buckley’s most fulfilling accomplishment has been the comfortable life she has been able to provide for her family. She was also a former cheerleader of the National Football League team, the New England Patriots. The highlight of her career was developing a national and international network of regional service centers used to service the needs of her clients for policy, claims, accounting and information resources. She has been invited to speak to fifth and sixth graders in a program through AIG called, ‘ Steps for Success’ on May 6, 2015. The topic will be ‘changing your career, your life and still be successful.’ In five years, Ms. Buckley hopes to be the vice president of operations for her company.

Ms. Buckley, taught at the Boston Conservatory of Music starting when she was a sophomore in 1976 until 1981. In 1984, she coached the Olympic hopefuls team in gymnastics by coordinating the choreography.
