Celebrating her second year as head of employment and labor group at Keyser Mason Ball, LLP, Cynthia Ingram continues to help the law firm deliver commercial and corporate legal services to businesses in the most cost-effective manner. As a seasoned professional in commercial litigation and employment law, she advises both senior management and operational personnel on matters regarding risk-management, operational issues, media and public relations, and dispute avoidance. Initially, Ms. Ingram became involved in her profession because she took a course in high school in law that intrigued her.
Ms. Ingram received a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from The University of British Columbia. Since graduation, she keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her membership with The Advocates’ Society. During her free-time, she volunteers through Hands for Hope, the Lacrosse Association, is vice chair of the school counsel at James W. Hill Public School, and the CanDance Academy. Ms. Ingram’s greatest career achievements are her referrals and client satisfaction, amounting to having a successful career for 19 years. She attributes her success to her work ethic, and her passion for wanting to be known and seen as doing a great job.
Prior to joining the Keyser Mason Ball, LLP, Ms. Ingram served as counsel to clients of various sizes and industries, including her in-house role as senior counsel and head of litigation for North America’s largest competitive retailer of energy-related services. She stands out because she is forthright, direct, has the ability to address all clients, and be comfortable in any room. Ms. Ingram educates her clients and works with them as a partner.
