For 21 years, Dr. Elizabeth Ramirez has been refining her expertise in obstetrics and gynecology. Now that she has been an independent practitioner for the past six years, she provides women’s health care on a return basis in Jersey City. Initially, Dr. Ramirez became involved in her profession because she knew she wanted to be a doctor since she was a child.

Dr. Ramirez received an MD through the Universidad Central del Este in 1993. Since graduation, she has kept abreast of changes in her profession through her membership with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has earned the Compassionate Doctor designation, and multiple Patients’ Choice awards. In five years, Dr. Ramirez intends to expand her practice and open another office. She would also like to become more involved in academics.
