Mrs. Edwards has been running Pendleton Events Ltd. for the last nine years, having started the company from scratch. She is proud to call some of the biggest names in children’s publishing, accountancy and the information technology industry her clients and friends. Mrs. Edwards gained several years of professional experience in hotel sales, higher education and book publishing before establishing Pendleton Events.

Mrs. Edwards serves as the director of WORDfest Crawley, an annual literacy festival, which in 2013 will be held between March 16 and 28. In addition, she and her husband, Marcus, are supporters of Sara Howell, an up-and-coming British equestrian. In five years, Mrs. Edwards plans to stay in the same position; she is where she wants to be, and can put together full programs and still have flexibility.
