As a 30 year expert in career and technology education, Nancy Gullick continues as host of the Technology Foundation at Horn Lake Middle School in the DeSoto County School District. There, she teaches all subjects, including keyboard to seventh-grade students. The highlight of Ms. Gullick’s career was using a Smart Board and other technology to reach out to a difficult age group of students.
In 1988, Ms. Gullick received a master’s degree in secondary education and English from the University of Mississppi. She is also certified as a Blackboard instructor, in ICT1 and IC3, and received an endorsement to teach computer and discovery classes. Ms. Gullick keeps abreast of changes in her career through her memberships with the Mississippi Association for Career and Technical Education and American Vocational Association.
