Heather Rawlings-Davis never expected her path would lead her to a career in the chocolate industry. She started out as an educator, and then began writing children’s books to encourage literacy and strength in the community, like “Duck Gets A New Hat, El Pato Consigue Un Nuevo Sombrero,” and “Polli Wogs.” The latter book is realistic fiction, and follows the story of a girl through her adventures in life and with other people. Eventually, that led to Ms. Rawlings-Davis’ own real-life adventure, including culinary classes, research, and the creation of PolliWogs.Co., a producer and manufacturer of three gourmet chocolate and caramel sauces. The cocoa used is grown with sustainable farming practices and techniques, and the containers and packaging used is eco-friendly.  With the support of the large chocolate community, PolliWogs.Co. currently has offices in 3,000 locations, and their products are available worldwide in grocery stores, specialty retail, and with food distributors.
