Donna Silva-Burnett was always destined for a career in education. She received a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education, and then obtained a master’s degree from Kean University, before finally, earning a Ph.D. in educational leadership and philosophy from Walden University. Aided by the knowledge she garnered, Dr. Burnett is currently employed in Franklin Township Public Schools as principal of Conerly Road School. During her tenure in Franklin, she has previously served in the capacity of assistant principal for the elementary, middle and high schools.
