Deciding to get involved in the family business, Teresa Acosta has spent the last 16 years as the sales director for the oil and energy company Noble Americas Energy Solutions. In this position, she is responsible for managing key accounts, risk management, account management and market analysis.
As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Ms. Acosta has faced a number of challenges regarding the glass ceiling, but she has found success thanks to her perseverance. She started at a low-level, and over time, she continued to bring solutions to large clients, leading to her own triumphs. She also has strong organizational skills and is disciplined, focused and committed. Every day she is inspired by an inner drive to be self-sufficient and the challenge of being more successful.
Ms. Acosta is most proud of the way she manages her customers and meets her sales goals. Personally, she is also proud of her family and raising her children. Moving forward, she is looking forward to moving from oil and gas energy sales to more sustainable solutions for her customers. Ms. Acosta hopes to be remembered as someone who cared, and was always there and charitable to her friends and family.
