Following her calling to service the sick and elderly via home services, Cecilia Harris decided to open her own company, Extracare Home Health Agency, Inc, nearly two decades ago. There, she pursues her passion for delivering compassionate and qualified care by offering private duty nursing and transportation services. Ms. Harris is proud of the way her business has grown, and attributes her strengths in networking and building relationships to her continued success.  She is motivated by her desire to be a good role model for her children.

Ms. Harris prepared for her career and business through years of experience, seminars, and conferences. She is also licensed through the government to provide a variety of services to her many clients. Looking forward, she intends to serve her community on a larger scale, and do more teaching to help other business-minded entrepreneurs create their own businesses. Ms. Harris hopes to be remembered for the many lives she has touched and changed. As a testament to her success, she received the St. Louis American Home Care Outstanding Business Award in 2016.

When Ms. Harris isn’t working, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family. She also participates in the Alzheimer’s Association and the Missouri Alliance In-Home Care Organization, and is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
