Highly driven and detail-oriented, Erica Worrell has spent the past two decades steadily progressing in her career with S. Abraham & Sons, a wholesale distributor specializing in servicing retail stores in the food industry. She started as a sales merchandiser in 1996, and became the regional vice president of sales in Indiana in 2014. Ms. Worrell is inspired by her own internal motivation. She would like her peers and employees to remember her as someone who was always trying to empower them by giving them the tools to achieve their goals.

The biggest challenge Ms. Worrell had to overcome was proving her credibility to men in her industry, gaining their respect, and getting them to do business with her. With the help and support of her mentors, she used her ability to partner with others and her reputation for always following through to succeed. Ms. Worrell is especially proud of attaining her current position, and is the only female regional vice president in the company. She hopes to continue learning and growing in her role, and looks forward to exploring other potential opportunities for further growth. To prepare for her career, Ms. Worrell earned a Bachelor of Business in applied management from Trine State University in 2002, where she graduated with high honors.

In her spare time, Ms. Worrell enjoys walking, hiking, reading, and spending time outdoors and with her husband and friends. She also supports the missions of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association. Furthermore, she was included in the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges 2002 publication. If Ms. Worrell could offer some advice to the younger generations, it would be to network, and to be the champion of their own successes.
