Stanley, MarthaTitle: Founder
Company: Extraordinary Journeys Inc.
Location: Dundee, IL United States

A veteran of the travel industry, Martha Stanley brings 38 years of experience in corporate, meeting, incentive, and leisure travel planning, pricing and execution to her new startup company, Extraordinary Journeys Inc. Her sole focus in launching her own agency was to be the best consultant she can be and to create lasting relationships with those who trust her with their time. After celebrating her first year in business this past April, Ms. Stanley is proud to say she has accomplished that goal. She currently works with a select few who appreciate her extensive destination knowledge, her can-do attitude in creating unique and inspiring itineraries, and her industry contacts that help her make travel dreams a reality.

Ms. Stanley attributes her success, longevity and passion to her parents, who both worked for the airline industry; she was traveling before she could even walk. Her father worked for Trans World Airlines in public relations, and was a very charismatic man. It is from him that she learned the importance of developing personal relationships, which is the core of her business today. Inspired by the feedback she gets from her clients, Ms. Stanley hopes to continue creating special travel experiences for people so that she can share in the joys and the discovery of this beautiful world. She is currently an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
