A masterful educator with a lifetime career teaching migrant workers and gifted students, Cecelia Boswell is dedicated to the empowerment of learning for enhanced success. Over the course of her 46-year career, she has become an exemplary role model for her unique devotion to teaching with empathy and sympathy, as well as her disciplinary model for creating methodologies with streamlining values and strategic applications of practical solutions to educational initiatives. Dr. Boswell utilizes these abilities in her consultancy, Austin Creek Educational Systems, where she serves as an adviser to those in the field of gifted and advanced services. As a woman in today’s world, Dr. Boswell feels that her longevity in the field has contributed to her success. She has always been able to adapt to change and stay on top of things, and she has never held back from experiences. Dr. Boswell would advise the younger generation of women to learn everything they can, take advantage of every opportunity, and to reflect when things go wrong so that the same mistake isn’t repeated. She is currently an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.

To enhance her professional abilities and knowledge, Dr. Boswell earned an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Texas Tech University, a Master of Education in education administration from Tarleton State University, a Bachelor of Arts in secondary Spanish and English from Tarleton State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from McMurry University. She hopes to continue to serve as a consultant with exemplary ethical and integrity standards moving forward.
