Motivated and enthusiastic about her career, Lori Borror has been involved with pharmaceuticals for the past 8 years. She followed her passion to AbbVie Inc., a global bio-pharmaceutical company with a 125-year history as an innovative leader in advancing health care. They specialize in areas such as immunology, kidney disease, liver disease, neuroscience, oncology, and women’s health, and investigate both small and large molecule approaches. As a senior specialty representative, Ms. Borror works with hospital systems in the obstetrics and gynecologic fields. She oversees new business development, management teaching, presentations, and district sales training.

The most challenging obstacle Ms. Borror faced was redefining herself after her divorce; she was forced to find her way and maintain professionalism. As a testament to her success, she earned the 2013 Summit Award and a Regional Business Award. Ms. Borror has been inspired in her career by her college professor, who gave her a different point of view, her father, who showed her how to defend both sides, and her grandparents, who taught her that it is possible to learn from everyone. Looking forward, she hopes to teach and manage on a larger scale.
