Anna Hubbell’s career in the insurance industry began simply because she was in the right place at the right time. Now, after two decades of experience in the industry and 17 years with Oregon Mutual Insurance, she remains passionate about her career choice and proud of her longevity. Ms. Hubbell’s current employer is the oldest independent mutual insurance company west of the Mississippi. They are a property and casualty company specializing in business, home, farm, and auto insurance. In her role with the company, Ms. Hubbell specializes in subrogation, which is the right for an insurer to pursue the third party that caused an insurance loss to the insured as a means of recovering the amount of the claim paid.

The biggest challenge Ms. Hubbell faces in her career is the ever-changing nature of the industry. Additionally, she would like to see more accountability in the field. Still, as a hardworking individual who is always willing to help, Ms. Hubbell intends to continue on the same path.

In addition to her insurance job, Ms. Hubbell is also involved with Take Shape For Life, which is a comprehensive healthy lifestyle program, as a health coach. She is currently an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, and is a Lifetime Girl Scout Member. When she has spare time, Ms. Hubbell enjoys going for walks.
