Called by God and her faith, Reverend Doctor Kay Palmer Marsh decided to pursue a career in religious services. She currently serves the Fort Lupton United Methodist Church, where she helps administrate a warm and welcoming environment with ministries for all ages. In 2013, Rev. Dr. Palmer Marsh helped the parish celebrate 150 years in the community. She is inspired in her life by the positive results she sees; her goal is to help everyone live together in peace and harmony, as God intended.

Rev. Dr. Palmer Marsh prepared for her career by earning a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology. She also holds a Master of Arts in urban studies from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Rev. Dr. Palmer Marsh considers her greatest professional accomplishment to be the fact that the churches she has pastored have made great strides in moving forward. She is proud of the fact that she earned the trust of the members. In recognition for her success, Rev. Dr. Palmer Marsh earned the Harry Denman Evangelism Award, which recognizes people whose outstanding efforts have been in leading people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Additionally, she is a distinguished delegate of The International Women’s Leadership Association. Prior to the ministry, Rev. Dr. Palmer Marsh worked as a social and political activist in Chicago and Colorado.
