A veteran of the energy supply industry, Pat Tudor brings five decades of professional experience to her position at Xcel Energy Inc. The utilities company provides electricity and natural gas services, including in the areas of renewable and sustainable energy. As a senior engineer and project manager, Ms. Tudor oversees daily business operations.

During Ms. Tudor’s initial years with the company, she was not given any projects because of her gender. She had to speak with an equal employment opportunity commission attorney to get projects assigned to her. Ms. Tudor was guided by her will to get the job done. Now, years later, she feels that her well-rounded experience gives her an edge in understanding all aspects of major construction jobs.

The highlight of Ms. Tudor’s career was participating in the Crystal Valley Curtain project as a draftsman. She loved seeing her drawings come to fruition. Today, Ms. Tudor’s drawings are hung in museums around the world. Looking to the future, she would like to continue working on large construction projects.

Later on in her life, Ms. Tudor met Carol Wright, who inspired her to become more community-minded. She currently volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, and is a member of Chi Epsilon, Inc., and the Denver Dumb Friends League. When Ms. Tudor isn’t working, she enjoys Sudoku and gardening.
