After experiencing egg donation firsthand, Carrie Bloedorn decided to create Eggspecting, Inc., a fertility clinic. She is passionate about her work in helping families have children, and after seeing a rising demand for egg donors abroad, she decided to expand internationally. In her role with the company, Ms. Bloedorn works with domestic and nondomestic donors, builds relationships with qualified clinics and physicians, helps families find a good match in the donor base, and forges new standards regarding egg donation.

Additionally, Ms. Bloedorn spends a lot of months a year living in India and Thailand to better assist international clients. Before Eggspecting came into the picture, family building options and quality screened donors were virtually impossible to find abroad. Utilizing her unmatched expertise, Ms. Bloedorn has worked to change that, and has helped couples in more than 12 different countries with their parenthood opportunities to date.

In the next five years, Ms. Bloedorn intends to continue to grow her business and develop within the industry. She is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American Fertility Association, and the European Society of Human Reproduction. Ms. Bloedorn is also an active volunteer with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.
