Patricia Dykstra began her career in property management 19 years ago because of the flexibility and stability the field offered. After spending time building her knowledge and skill set in the industry, she realized that she was good at what she did and excelled at every level. Ms. Dykstra eventually landed the role of president of Insight Community Management Solutions, which provides complete association management and property management services for both community and homeowner associations.

One of Ms. Dykstra’s greatest strengths is customer service. She works with individuals from all walks of life on a daily basis, and feels that her job isn’t just about managing buildings; it’s about wanting the residents to be happy. Ms. Dykstra hopes to grow the business and make it a major competitor by providing the best services and building quality relationships with the customers. She has done a lot to make that goal a reality, and is proud of the fact that, by working and training with board members, she has improved the company’s status as a major competitor.

Along the path to her career, Ms. Dykstra took advantage of on-the-job training, and attended classes to earn various designations in the industry. She is affiliated with the California Association of Community Managers, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and the Community Association Institution (CAI). Ms. Dykstra is also charitably involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals and the Wounded Warrior Project. When she isn’t working, she enjoys making jewelry out of silver.
