While working as a registered nurse for a home health care organization, Toni Williams Camp saw an opportunity. There was a need for otherwise unavailable hospice services in the rural community, and she sought to change the hospice environment from corporate to caring and responsive. This unique approach has enabled Ms. Camp’s business to grow exponentially, as well as retain the superior staff she has developed. As the owner of Regional Hospice Care Group of NW Louisiana, LLC, she is responsible for creating the culture and environment of the facilities, as well as locating, training and developing her staff. Ms. Camp’s team is comprised of nurses, aides, chaplains, social workers and general office workers.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Camp attributes her success to her upbringing and adherence to the Golden Rule, which states: “do onto others as you would have others do onto you.” Her determination and tenacity have also played critical roles, as has her ability to create services to serve the community’s needs. She would advise others to always do the right thing and to try their best.

To help prepare for her career, Ms. Camp earned an associate degree in nursing from South Arkansas University in 1990. She is a member of the Community Health Education Network and LMHTCO. Looking forward, Ms. Camp plans to continue making a difference by bringing people a better quality of life at the end of their lives.
