An expert in engineering, business development, marketing, leadership, and project and human resources management with almost two decades of experience, Muna Ahmed is well-suited to her career as the president and CEO of Total Plant Management Group. Total Plant Management Group is an engineering and manufacturing solutions provider that offers prefabricated buildings, panel fabrication, metering skids, and engineering and manufacturing services. Ms. Ahmed has a number of responsibilities in her current role, including evaluating and managing company policies, financial issues, and staff deployment, ensuring that policies and production levels are being met, and cutting costs while increasing production. She also advises the board members on crucial decisions that impact manufacturing levels, communicates with customers, vendors and employees, and estimates and analyzes budgets.

Driven by her desire to be an entrepreneur, Ms, Ahmed earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Houston in 1999 and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston in 1995. She considers the highlight of her career to be graduating with a degree.

In recognition of her success, Ms. Ahmed was named Entrepreneur of the Year by SACC, and earned the Top Five Percent Award by Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She is currently affiliated with the South Asian Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Women Engineers, and supports the Bangladesh Student Association and UNICEF. Looking forward, Ms. Ahmed would like to see the company’s yearly revenue grow to $20 million.
