Title: Director of Project Management for Occupier Services
Company: CBRE, Inc.
Location: Seattle, WA United States
Carrie Griffiths became interested in construction and design when she was little, after she saw houses being built as part of an expansion project for her neighborhood. Since then, she has worked toward her goal by earning a Bachelor of Science in design from the University of Cincinnati and a NCIDQ certificate. Further, she is a registered interior designer in the state of Illinois. Ms. Griffiths now has 24 years of experience in the industry, and is an expert in multiple market locations, project management, interior design, furniture specifications, and construction. In her current role as the director of project management for occupier services at CBRE, Inc, she manages tenant representative project management teams, while also lending her skills to specific project assignments, including single point of contact accounts. Ms. Griffiths’ attention to detail and ability to maintain client goals, expectations, schedules and budgets ensure that projects stay on track throughout the entire process.
Prior to joining CBRE, Inc., Ms. Griffiths worked at Chicago-based interior design and architecture firms with both local and national clients, with whom she enjoys continued relationships. As a designer, one of her first clients was the Girl Scouts of Chicago. When their new office was complete, they invited Ms. Griffiths to their national conference in Kansas City, where her company received an award for the project. She has earned other recognition for her success as well, including, most recently, the CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Chapter Corporate Real Estate Partnership Award in 2015. Ms. Griffiths attributes her success to building a foundation of trust with her clients, and allowing for growing relationships, both professionally and personally.
