Wielding a fiery passion to help others achieve their human potential, Dr. Valerie Peachey is the Director of Delivery for the Open Learning Division of Thompson Rivers University. She acts on her innate ability to recognize and support the dreams of others, so they can one day achieve their goals, personally and professionally. She draws upon her 20 plus years of leadership, academic and facilitation experience in the post secondary sector, and is proud of the fact that her teams exhibit a strong focus on achieving divisional results that support the organizational mission and vision. Dr. Peachey actively participates on numerous  university committees and has been an active volunteer for the arts in  the community of Kamloops. 

Dr. Peachey’s inspiration comes from her inner drive, and a passion for increasing pathways that will enable greater access to education. She would like to be remembered for creating innovative programs across cultures, supporting others to achieve their dreams and a curiosity about the world and those around her.
