Retired executive Audrey Deflorentis felt that putting in hard work and numerous hours at the office helped her succeed and make a name for herself in the industry. She naturally progressed to her position with Capital Management Consultants, Inc., after 13 years of service as an executive manager for a medical consulting firm. Ms. Deflorentis drew upon the development of her quality standards and services, relationship building skills, discipline, and work ethic values as she advanced her career.
The biggest challenge Ms. Deflorentis faced was dealing with the attitude and behavior of associates as related to providing professional guidance. She succeeded, however, with the help of her strong will, self-determination, sense of humor and good nature, as well as her willingness to be helpful and drive for success.
As a member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, Ms. Deflorentis would advise the younger generation of women entering the workplace is to know that, “you can rise to any limit.” Looking forward, she hopes to be remembered for her dedication, kindness, and values.
