As founder and principal of J. Moore Consulting Services, Joanne Moore offers property and casualty expert witness services and litigation preparation. Having worked in the insurance industry for 33 years she brings real-world credibility, knowledge, and experience to her two years at the consulting business. Ms. Moore thrives on a person who helps develop, relate, and mentor people, while working for the good of the company and organization, successfully.

The advice that Ms. Moore can share with the younger generation of women entering the workforce is, “Behave with confidence even though you don’t feel it because behaving with confidence will lead to the feeling. And know your core values.” As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Moore feels that having more confidence about taking risks, even if she is not fully prepared, has contributed to her success.  She feels that she can learn from the experience.

Ms. Moore has been recruited as the director for the Women’s Leadership Program at the California State University Fullerton, Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. Her professional goal is to never stop learning, continue in the industry, and to embark on her new career. During her free-time, Ms. Moore enjoys horseback riding with her husband, gardening, and reading.
