Livia Villar’s experience, professionalism, and passion for translation are her greatest motivation to see the above goals completed. Due to her nature as a woman, she is a restless person, always thinking of new projects to undertake as part of her every day challenges, with the purpose to support people who share her dedication and enthusiasm, sharing part of herself with each of them. Her greatest achievement has been receiving the acknowledgement, among other the letters of acknowledgement that she earns from her clients. She counts on the respect and expertise of her colleagues. She and most of her colleagues are together every day, side by side, pulling ahead in their profession.

Ms. Villar has participated in specialized legal courses at the Escuela de Derecho, in Mexico City, and also taken English language grammar courses.. The highlight of her career was being in compliance with institution requirements rendering services in due time and proper form pursuant to clients’ needs. The supervision and execution of translations is developed in several stages of diverse translation processes. Ms. Villar became involved in her profession because of her prior experiences in the industry and ability to build close working relationships.

Currently, Ms. Villar and her team have set the goal for themselves to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 certification. ‘Thus, we shall be innovators in our field,,’ she says. ‘As up until now, there is no translation company in the world that is certified by an international organization; at the same time, and as part of the Amanuensis values, we also wish to become part of the RSE companies (Social Corporate Responsibility).’ Since Ms. Villar started to get involved in the translation business area, she has had the firm goal to become one of the best translation companies. Until now, upon the achieved attainments on a daily basis, in her personal opinion, she is working on the right path.

Firstly, Ms. Villar started together with a group of colleagues, and then went through to incorporate the company, and registered Amanuensis as Trademark. Currently, she is working to get the ISO 2015 Certification. As of now, she has been invited to become a part of a New Committee to assess new translators and agencies at a worldwide level. Some local newspapers extended invitations to her in order to be interviewed about her professional development.
