Edith Lasson attributes her success in the insurance industry to her tenacity. Honing in on 11 years as director of Flagstaff Insurance, Inc., and 46-year overall career, she is determined to achieve further growth in her chosen field as she looks to the future. Wielding skills that include article-writing, seminar-hosting and public speaking, Ms. Lasson cites her long and expanding career as her greatest achievement. 

Initially interested in a career in accounting, Ms. Lasson was steered toward the insurance industry by a friend and took to it immediately. Her 22-year prior experience as area vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher and Company provided her with significant familiarity with the areas of insurance brokerage and risk management. She also gained industry knowledge through her educational endeavors; she holds an associate’s degree in business management, and is a certified insurance counselor.

Ms. Lasson’s responsibilities at her current position with Flagstaff Insurance, Inc. include communicating with new and existing clients, assisting clients with their commercial insurance needs, working with international clients and renewing contracts. She keeps abreast of industry developments through her membership with the Utah Housing Alliance, the Manufactured Housing Institute, the California Educational Trust Institute and the Arizona Manufacturing Committee. In five years, she hopes to continue to advance within the insurance industry.
