Notable for her empathy and ability to listen, DeAnn Worth celebrates nine years of experience as a claims examiner for State Farm Insurance. Drawing upon her considerable expertise in medical record analysis and case management, Ms. Worth coordinates with physicians, insurance agents, beneficiaries, police and investigators in order to bring about solutions to delicate insurance situations. She is professionally motivated by a desire to help others and continues to advance in her field, utilizing her compassionate nature and nursing experience.
A certified case manager and registered nurse, Ms. Worth earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1984 and a diploma from Mennonite School of Nursing in 1981. With prior experience spanning more than 20 years, she initially joined State Farm Insurance as a nurse and continues to build her credentials in this field. Currently, she is available as a nursing consultant and is affiliated with such charitable organizations as ‘Hands of Christ,’ a free medical clinic for Mexican residents who lack proper health coverage.
Attributing her success to her mentors, husband, and two children, Ms. Worth loves her job and the team with whom she works. In the long term, she hopes to continue to progress within her field and perform medical missionary work. Ms. Worth was featured on Elite Radio Network in 2012 and in the fourth edition of ProFiles magazine in 2013. Motivated by her desire to grow and further help those in need, she remains engaged with the nursing community through her membership with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
